Two-Stage Robust Programming Modeling for Continuous Berth Allocation with Uncertain Vessel Arrival Time

In order to mitigate the environmental pollution caused by sea freight, we focused on optimizing carbon emissions in container terminal operations. This paper establishes a mixed integer programming (MIP) model for continuous berth allocation problem (CBAP) considering tide time window. We aimed minimize total waiting time, consumption and deviation preference. overcome influence of an uncertain arrival proposed MIP was extended robust (MIRP) models, which applied two-stage optimization (TSRO) approach optimal solution. introduced uncertainty set scenarios describe time. Due complexity resulting three particle swarm (PSO) algorithms made two novelties. The numerical experiment revealed that models yielded smaller variation objective function values, improved demonstrated shorter solution solving problem. results show robustness constructed efficiency algorithms.
